Located on the northern edge of Copenhagen, this historic villa has been carefully reimagined by Monitz Architects. Built in 1894, the house carries a long history, now gently adapted for contemporary family life.

Rather than reinventing the home, the transformation reveals what was already there—bringing separate dwellings together into one calm, coherent family residence. Old and new sit naturally side by side, each strengthening the other.

Shaped by light from the sea and sky, the villa feels both grounded and open. It is a quiet sanctuary for a family of four, where historical character meets the clarity of modern living, and where the atmosphere of the place remains deeply connected to its surroundings.
